In most cases, the lifting equipments may not be enough and the management of treatment plants is very expensive.
The problems grow up with heavy rains and when the number of citizens increases significantly (for example, in a seaside resort in summer).
Idratech proposes a targeted intervention, based on the addition of microbiological products within the sewer system through the collecting wells.
The product is dosed according to the extension of the network and applicable even in very small sites (septic tanks, etc..).
After a few weeks, the mud is reduced until it disappears.
Sludge Treatment
The treatments most commonly applied are of two types: mechanical and microbiological.
Idratech is able to provide in either case the most appropriate solutions.
The mechanical treatments are carried out through mechanical filter presses,belt presses and centrifuges,selected by Idratech on the basis of technical specifications (equipment complying with the ATEX can be provided)
The result can be obtained varies depending on the characteristics of the mud going into the device.
The average reduction in volume ranges between 70% and 90% with a reduction in disposal costs and a greater plant efficiency.
The mechanically treated sludge are those that come from sewage treatment plants (sludge of the physical-chemical section and biological sludge), industrial or civil.
The microbiological processes are applicable to all types of mud having a high content of organic matter and a low concentrations of toxic substances that would be harmful to microorganisms. The treatment concern sludges coming from sludge ponds, lakes, rivers, river ports and/or marine. The results are excellent in terms of reducing the level of the amount of mud deposited.
