Municipal wastewater treatment

Biodredging
The biodredging is based on the introduction of natural microbiological products (bio-fixed microorganisms) directly to the area to be reclaimed.
Unlike traditional techniques for remediation, do not use mechanical devices, but acts by accelerating the biological processes, without any interference on the ecosystem.
Combating eutrophication
The Eutrophication is the excessive growth of algae, due to the presence, in the acquatic ecosystem, of too high levels of nutrients such as nitrogen or phosphorus from sources of pollution.
Idratech addresses and solves this problem permanently by using a microbiological approach that provides for the release of specific blends of microorganisms in the environment to be recovered
These mixtures to fulfill their metabolic functions use the surplus of nitrogen and phosphorus thus afforded to the environment affected by eutrophication. Thanks to micro-organisms so the concentrations of these elements are contained within acceptable values and the development of algae once again returns to normal levels.
MtBE polluted water treatment
Among the different types of case studies related to contamination of water, Idratech also deals with the treatment of MtBE polluted water. MtBE is an additive used today, in place of tetraethyl lead and benzene, to increase the antiknock power of gasoline.
What happens if the water is contaminated with MtBE?
In addition to the use of the well known technology of the air stripping and active carbons Idratech has developed a treatment that provides for the addition of chemicals, in particular is exploited the combined action of two products.
Degradation can be further facilitated by the addition of specificbacterial strains (marketed by Idratech) in the biological section of the WWTP.
